Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design & Implementation: Design and implement vRA solutions tailored to organizational needs, ensuring
   efficient and robust service delivery.
2. Blueprint Development: Create and manage blueprints for standard and customized application stacks.
3. Integration with Other Systems: Integrate vRA with other VMware tools (like vROps, vSAN, NSX) and third-party systems
   (configuration management, IPAM solutions, ticketing systems, etc.).
4. Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of services provisioned through vRA, including upgrades, patches, and
   decommissioning.
5. Self-service Portal Management: Customize and manage the vRA self-service portal to ensure user-friendliness and
   adherence to business requirements.
6. Governance and Policies: Define and implement governance policies, ensuring compliance, security, and efficient
   utilization of resources.
7. Capacity & Performance Management: Monitor and manage vRA infrastructure to ensure high availability, optimal
   performance, and scalability.
8. Documentation: Maintain updated documentation on vRA designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
9. Collaboration: Work closely with various teams, such as network, storage, security, and application teams, to deliver
   integrated solutions.
10. Training: Train and mentor junior staff and end-users on vRA tools and best practices.
11. Issue Resolution: Provide Level 3 support for vRA-related issues, working with VMware or third-party vendors as needed.
    Required Qualifications:
12. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
13. Extensive experience with VMware vRealize Automation, preferably with a certification (like VCP-CMA).
14. Deep understanding of cloud concepts, virtualization, and associated technologies.
15. Knowledge of scripting and automation languages such as vRO workflows, PowerShell, JavaScript, or Python.
16. Familiarity with ITIL processes.
17. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
    Preferred Qualifications:
18. Experience with other VMware products, especially vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).
19. Knowledge of container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
20. Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools.
21. Prior experience in a large enterprise or service provider environment.
