About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Security Operations (SecOps) Vulnerability Response Implementation Specialist with a strong background in designing, configuring, and deploying ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) modules. This role excels at end-to-end implementations and requires demonstrated expertise in building, managing, and optimizing custom integrations between ServiceNow and third-party security/vulnerability platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Implementation: Design, configure, and deploy ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR) modules according to enterprise security requirements.
- Custom Integration Management: Build, customize, and optimize integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7, Tenable, CrowdStrike, Splunk, BigFix, SCCM) using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Servers.
- ServiceNow Scripting & Workflows: Utilize JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and orchestration tools to automate vulnerability management workflows and data import/export processes.
- Vulnerability Lifecycle Management: Align platform capabilities with standard vulnerability lifecycles, CVE/CWE standards, and enterprise risk-scoring methodologies.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a technical subject matter expert, translating complex technical security concepts into actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Requirements
- ServiceNow SecOps Expertise: 3+ years of dedicated experience implementing and administering ServiceNow Security Operations modules, specifically focusing on Vulnerability Response.
- Integration Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and customizing integrations with major vulnerability scanners and security platforms.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development tools, including JavaScript, Glide system, Flow Designer, and MID Server configurations.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of common enterprise security tools, risk frameworks, and vulnerability management methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
