About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps and Cloud Specialist to drive the evolution of our client’s cloud infrastructure. This role is designed for a technical expert who thrives on building scalable, automated, and resilient systems. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring a seamless, high-performance deployment lifecycle within a robust Google Cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Manage: Design and maintain scalable, secure infrastructure exclusively on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Infrastructure as Code: Utilize Terraform to implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for consistent environment provisioning.
- Container Orchestration: Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
- Automation & CI/CD: Build, optimize, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Configuration Management: Leverage Ansible to automate system configurations and ensure environment parity.
- Performance Engineering: Develop custom scripts (Python/Shell) for system improvements and monitor high-availability metrics.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years in IT, with 4+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in GCP.
- Tech Stack: Deep proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform is essential.
- Automation: Proven track record in configuration management using Ansible.
- Scripting: Strong ability to write clean, maintainable automation scripts in Shell or Python.
- Strategy: A comprehensive understanding of modern DevOps philosophy and cloud-native architecture.
