Senior AI Engineer
Job Summary
A fast-growing technology consulting company is looking for an experienced Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade AI solutions powered by Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI, Advanced RAG, and modern AI frameworks. You’ll play a key role in architecting scalable AI applications, mentoring team members, and driving AI innovation from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade LLM-powered applications using Python
- Architect and implement Agentic AI systems with multi-agent orchestration, tool calling, memory, and workflow automation
- Design and optimize Advanced RAG pipelines using vector databases, hybrid search, and enterprise knowledge sources
- Develop and integrate Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers and AI tool integrations
- Build and optimize prompt engineering strategies, AI evaluations, and guardrails for enterprise use cases
- Optimize token usage, latency, and cost for production AI applications
- Integrate AI models using REST APIs, SDKs, and cloud AI services such as Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry
- Build AI solutions using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, and LlamaIndex
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, production-ready AI solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to AI best practices, architecture, and technical decision-making
- Stay current with emerging GenAI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field
- 6–10 years of software development experience, with at least 3 years in AI/ML or Generative AI
- Strong proficiency in Python and API development
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, Agentic AI and multi-agent frameworks, Advanced RAG architectures, prompt engineering, embeddings, semantic search, vector databases, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI APIs, or equivalent cloud AI platforms
- Strong understanding of token optimization, model evaluation, observability, and performance tuning
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Claude APIs, GitHub Copilot integrations, or enterprise AI copilots
- Knowledge of fine-tuning, LLMOps, and MLOps
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Exposure to React, Streamlit, or Gradio for AI application development
- Experience building enterprise-scale AI solutions on Azure or other cloud platforms
