Job Summary
A fast-growing technology consulting company is hiring an experienced SAP UI5 & Fiori Developer with 6–8 years of relevant experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP XSA. In this role, you’ll design, build, extend, and support intuitive enterprise applications, with a focus on seamless backend integration using OData services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop responsive SAPUI5/Fiori applications aligned with business requirements
- Build and maintain custom Fiori applications, extensions, and enhancements
- Configure and adapt standard Fiori applications to meet evolving business needs
- Develop Fiori extensions — extension points, controller extensions, view extensions, and UI adaptations
- Integrate UI5/Fiori front ends with OData services, REST APIs, and SAP backend systems
- Develop and deploy applications within SAP XSA environments
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and backend developers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and performance optimization
- Support application transport, deployment, and production issue resolution
- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards and UX best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of experience in SAPUI5, Fiori, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML views
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP XSA, including development and deployment activities
- Experience in Fiori app configuration, adaptation, and extension
- Solid understanding of SAP Fiori design principles and the app lifecycle
- Ability to troubleshoot UI issues and optimize performance
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of OData services and SAP integration patterns
- Experience with SAP HANA, CDS views, and related data models
- Familiarity with SAP XSA, CAP, or ABAP backend integration
- Exposure to Agile delivery environments
- SAP certification(s) in UI5/Fiori or related SAP technologies
