Job Summary
A fast-growing technology consulting company is looking for an SAP HANA Developer with strong hands-on expertise in HANA views, ABAP Core Data Services, and BW reporting. The role focuses on building and supporting reports across the Finance domain, working closely with business teams to translate requirements into scalable, high-quality reporting solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Create new reports based on HANA views and table functions on HANA Cloud
- Enhance and support reports based on ABAP Core Data Services, HANA views, and BW objects
- Provide post-implementation support for existing reports, including bug fixes, enhancements, and upgrades
- Support existing reports and end-users on an ongoing basis
- Work with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to analyze requirements and design/build reports across Finance and related SAP modules (FI, CO, HR, MM, BI)
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–7 years of developer experience
- Deep understanding of SAP ECC/S4 HANA, SAP BW, SAP BO, relational database concepts, and SQL
- Experience with SAP HANA XSA, SAP Web IDE, Eclipse, HANA Studio, Git, and source code version control management
- Experience in ABAP (ABAP classes, ABAP Core Data Services, AMDP, function modules, user-exits, BADI)
- Knowledge of HANA for BW Modeling: Composite Providers, ADSOs, Open ODSs, Open Hubs, calculation views, scalar and table functions, stored procedures, etc.
- Experience with reporting tools such as BEx Query, WEBI, Analysis for Office, and Tableau
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of business processes in SAP modules such as FI, CO, HR
- Experience with SAP security concepts (single/composite roles, BW authorization objects, DCL, etc.)
