Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Java,
Spring Boot, Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), and SQL to design and develop next-generation,
high-performing applications. The role involves building scalable cloud-native microservices and
working on distributed systems, big data workflows, and real-time processing applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
● Research, design, and develop next-generation applications supporting billions of
transactions and large-scale data.
● Design and build cloud-based solutions for Billing, Real-time Streaming, Batch Analytics,
and Reporting applications.
● Develop microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and optionally Node.js, with
containerization experience (Docker, Kubernetes).
● Work extensively with Big Data, distributed programming, ETL workflows, and
orchestration tools.
● Build cloud-native applications leveraging AWS or GCP services.
● Collaborate with product managers, internal teams, and external customers using the
Agile methodology.
● Convert business requirements into product features and scalable services.
● Build rapid PoCs to evaluate technical feasibility and bridge technology gaps.
● Practice rapid, iterative development to convert concepts into market-ready products.
● Drive product innovation, demonstrate prototypes, and evangelize new solutions.
Skills Required
● Proven experience building high-performing, scalable cloud applications.
● Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, SQL/PL-SQL, and any of: Python,
Node.js.
● Experience with ORM/JPA, Transaction Management, Concurrency, and Design Patterns.
● Strong understanding of AWS or GCP, cloud services, and cloud-native architectures.
● Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized microservice deployments.
● Knowledge of NoSQL databases (Cassandra, HBase).
● Experience with ETL/Orchestration tools like NiFi, Airflow (added advantage).
● Deep understanding of software engineering best practices, performance engineering,
unit testing, and design patterns.
● Understanding of distributed architecture, plug-ins, and REST APIs.
● Experience in Security, Cloud Security, Container Security is an advantage.
● Hands-on experience integrating applications with downstream REST Web Services.
● Knowledge of ASN.1 and telecom protocols is a plus.
● Prior experience in Cloud-based development is a strong plus.
Qualifications
● B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical, or Electronics.
