WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Lead 1–2 teams of SREs responsible for Azure-based infrastructure and client platform operations
Partner with Product Owners and other stakeholders to align SRE capabilities with product outcomes
Act as a people manager, responsible for hiring, performance development, 1:1s, and career growth
Guide teams through both short-term delivery cycles (sprints) and long-term infrastructure evolution
Foster a healthy, inclusive, and productive engineering culture
Support your teams in resolving technical challenges, collaborating on system design and
automation
Promote security best practices, reliability goals (SLOs/SLIs), and cross-team consistency
Partner with other engineering managers and tech leads to define and deliver shared platform
capabilities
Champion operational excellence by setting and tracking relevant SRE metrics and KPIs
Serve as a servant leader, enabling your team’s success and coaching for growth
Your qualifications
You are an engineer at heart, focused on enabling others to deliver operational excellence
You bring 2-4 years of leadership experience and build followership
You are fluent in core SRE practices (monitoring, automation, CI/CD, incident response, IaC)
You have experience working in or managing teams using Microsoft Azure
You’re familiar with ITIL processes, especially incident and problem management
You know what “good” looks like and are comfortable with incremental progress over perfection
