About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Data Scientist with GenAI expertise to join a high-impact consulting team. In this hybrid role based in Bengaluru, you will design and deploy cutting-edge Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions across diverse client engagements. You will operate with autonomy, mentor junior team members, and directly influence business outcomes through data-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ML and Generative AI use cases across business functions
- Handle large volumes of data — extraction, cleaning, and interpretation — to surface meaningful insights
- Define workflows and provide analytical direction for yourself and team associates
- Apply NLP, Verbatim Analysis, and Speech-to-Text techniques across projects
- Build comprehensible analytical solutions that address real business problems using domain knowledge and statistical methods
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure solutions align with project objectives
- Represent findings and project progress through clear, structured presentations
- Mentor junior resources and foster a continuous learning environment within the team
- Support Business Development efforts — sales collaterals, Proof of Concepts (PoCs), and Case Studies
- Contribute to organizational initiatives, including interviews, knowledge transfers, and team-building
- Deliver results consistently within tight timelines and with minimal supervision
Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- Python — strong, hands-on proficiency
- Generative AI — RAG, Agents, LLMs, Prompt Engineering
- Solution design and storyboarding capability
- Practical experience with AI Cloud Services (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP)
Good to Have
- Machine Learning (ML) — classical and advanced methods
- Azure Cloud Services
Experience: 5–8 Years
Education: B.Tech / B.E. / M.Sc. / MBA / M.Tech in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or any quantitative discipline
