We are looking for an experienced Claims UAT / SIT Tester with strong exposure to Life Insurance
claims. The role involves validating end-to-end claims processes, ensuring system functionality
aligns with business requirements, and supporting UAT sign-off before production release.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform UAT and SIT testing for Life Insurance Claims systems.
- Understand and test end-to-end claims lifecycle including death, maturity, surrender, survival
benefit, and rider claims. - Prepare and execute test cases based on BRD, FSD, and user stories.
- Validate business rules, calculations, workflows, and approvals.
- Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA or HP ALM.
- Coordinate with business users, claims SMEs, and development teams.
- Support UAT sign-off and production go-live activities.
Required Skills & Experience - Strong experience in Life Insurance claims domain (mandatory).
- Hands-on experience in UAT and SIT testing.
- Good understanding of claims processes and insurance terminology.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation is an advantage.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience working with Life Insurance Policy Administration or Claims systems.
- Exposure to regulatory compliance and IRDA guidelines.
- Experience supporting business users during UAT cycles.
