Job Summary
A leading technology and networking solutions company is looking for a UI Python Test Automation Engineer to join its QA team, focused on testing and automating validation of the frontend/UI layer of controller interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain UI test automation (Playwright; Cypress is a plus) for controller frontend interfaces
- Design and execute manual and automated UI test scenarios covering functional and regression cases
- Report and track defects, collaborating with frontend developers to clarify requirements
- Integrate UI test suites into CI/CD pipelines
- Support cross-layer testing efforts alongside platform and backend engineers
Required Skills
- Solid Python skills — Python is mandatory; hands-on UI test automation experience using Playwright (Cypress or Selenium also acceptable — tool is flexible)
- General networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing); SD-WAN exposure is a plus, not required
- Comfortable working independently, taking ownership of assigned test areas
- Mid-to-senior level experience in QA automation/SDET roles
- Large enterprise environment experience
- Willingness to overlap with US working hours
